Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Prepress Engineering Project Specialist to support the creation and delivery of trading card products. You will connect Art, Prepress Engineering, Mastering, and Project Coordinators to move projects from concept through print-ready delivery.

The role emphasizes scheduling, documentation, and clear communication across cross-functional teams, with a focus on process improvement and ensuring requirements are understood and met before mastering.

• Experience with engineering, prepress, print production or technical graphics workflows.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills with multi-project management.
• Comfort handling administrative and coordination tasks to keep teams moving.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate needs between creative and technical teams.
• High attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned trading card projects within Prepress Engineering workflows.
• Coordinate schedules, priorities, and handoffs between Art, Engineering, PM, Mastering, and PCs.
• Support engineers by managing project tracking, timelines, and admin tasks.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, status, and changes.
• Communicate project requirements and updates across cross-functional partners.
• Assist with intake and organization of new card projects and licensed products.
• Ensure engineering and prepress requirements are met before delivering to mastering.
• Identify gaps, risks, or blockers and escalate appropriately.
• Support ongoing workflow improvements within PPE.
