Role Summary

The mandate of the Fanatics Pre‑Press team is to translate card designs to accurate, error‑free PDF that are ready for press. We are seeking a Preflight operator to review and ensure digital components are technically correct and ready for print production. This role acts as a quality control checkpoint between design and press, identifying and resolving potential file issues before they impact production.

In this role, you will…

• Perform detailed preflight checks by validating content, imagery and design components are available and ready for composition.
• Check the file size specs across imagery and design templates.
• Verify color modes (CMYK, spot colors), resolution, bleeds, trim, and safety margins.
• Assess project setup for composition.
• Communicate file issues and required corrections clearly with internal teams.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Document project status within the job tracking system.
• Attend cross‑functional team meetings to discuss project readiness before going to production.

• 3+ years of experience in prepress, print production.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively solve technical problems.
