Job summary
Lids is seeking a Card Breaker & Trading Card Content Specialist who will host live trading card breaks in-store and online. You will engage customers, educate them on products, and deliver entertaining, informative experiences across digital channels.
The role blends retail expertise with content creation and community building. Ideal candidates have strong public speaking, on-air presence, and deep knowledge of trading cards, Pokémon, and hobby trends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in trading cards, collectibles, hobby retail, content creation, livestreaming, broadcasting, or customer-facing entertainment preferred.
- Experience hosting live breaks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Host live trading card breaks in-store and across digital platforms.
- Represent the Lids brand within the trading card community.
- Create excitement around product releases, breaks, promotions, and hobby news.
- Develop innovative break formats and engagement programs.
- Collaborate with store leadership to identify desirable products and break opportunities.
