We have an opportunity for a Tradeshow Marketing Specialist. This hybrid position is based in Charlotte, NC. You will drive tradeshows through planning, directing, coordinating, and ensuring no lead is left behind. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales and marketing to ensure high-quality execution, lead management, post-show follow-up, and reporting. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment that drives global demand. The Tradeshow Marketing Specialist will report to the Events Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of the event lifecycle from pre-event research, planning, execution, to post-event analysis, respecting deadlines and budgets.
  • Coordinate tradeshow planning and execution with sales and marketing stakeholders, providing timely updates and helping build marketing event calendars to increase awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with exhibit vendors and designers to create engaging booth designs, product displays, and experiences.
  • Work with content marketing to develop all event materials, including videos, brochures, product cards, and booth graphics.
  • Manage event logistics such as venue selection, hotel accommodations, shipment of booth goods, and service orders.
  • Oversee on-site event support during tradeshows, including setup, problem-solving, vendor coordination, and teardown.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment with open communication, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Maintain and update a Tradeshow Event brief for each event to keep internal teams and leadership informed.
  • Establish and execute lead capture strategies at each event, including data export, cleaning, and handoff to digital teams for follow-up.
  • Coordinate with external exhibit houses and internal product managers to showcase new products and ensure engaging presence on the show floor.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in event or tradeshow planning, budgeting, contract negotiation, and project management.
  • Strong facilitation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with poise and grace.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently or with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Creative and critical thinking aligned with go-to-market strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30-50%, especially during peak seasons (Jan-Mar, Sept-Nov).
Compensation:

The annual base pay range for this full-time role in Charlotte, NC, is estimated between $61,200 and $113,600, based on experience, education, and organizational needs. Additional compensation such as annual incentives may apply.
