Job Description

Laurel Ridge Community College is looking for a motivated and reliable Trades Technician who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in doing the job right. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work on a variety of tasks. In this role, candidates will work directly with tools, equipment, and materials to support installation, maintenance, and repair projects across a variety of trade disciplines. Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem‑solving skills.

Classified: Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $52,987.00 - $71,532.00. The position is classified staff and as such is eligible for the benefits package offered by the Commonwealth of Virginia for state agencies. For more information, please visit www.dhrm.virginia.gov.
