Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Trader for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Financing and hedging, including raising financing, hedging/monetizing stock positions. Providing market risk hedging and stake management such as strategies for acquiring, disposing, hedging, or yield enhancement, and other solutions including equity-linked issuance management, share buybacks, employee stock option hedging, and hedging share issuance. Helping price, trade, and risk manage the exotic and bespoke structures traded by the desk. Supporting the development and expansion of the margin loan platform. Structuring and pricing complex and concentrated derivatives. Executing stock and futures on the U.S. exchange to help hedge and risk manage the first derivative delta risk" of the desk's dynamic portfolio. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Trader, Structurer or related position involving structuring and trading equity derivative transactions within the financial services industry. 4 years of experience must include: Derivative Product Offerings to develop new products and hedging strategies; Quantitative modeling and scripting languages; Leveraging Multi Asset Products to manage non-linear complex risks including correlation, fixed income exposure and volatility; Coding and Product Management Proficiency including Python and Visual Basic (VBA); and Trading Experience across multiple assets including equities and commodities.
