Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking a seasoned trademark attorney for a full-time, non-promotion track position in Washington, DC. You will manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, review clearance searches, draft opinions, monitor watch notices, and advise on enforcement before the TTAB.

Additional responsibilities include trademark licensing, due diligence projects, and coordinating with foreign practitioners on international matters to protect brand assets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution.
• Experience managing international trademark matters and communicating with foreign practitioners.
• Portfolio management, reviewing trademark search reports, and drafting clearance opinions.
• Experience with trademark enforcement: cease-and-desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations before TTAB.
• Due diligence and licensing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage trademark portfolio and monitor watch notices.
• Draft cease-and-desist letters and handle TTAB oppositions/cancellations.
• Review search reports and prepare written clearance opinions.
• Coordinate trademark licensing and due diligence projects.
• Engage with foreign practitioners on international trademark matters.
