Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking a seasoned trademark attorney for a full-time, non-promotion track position in Washington, DC. You will manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, review clearance searches, draft opinions, monitor watch notices, and advise on enforcement before the TTAB.

Additional responsibilities include trademark licensing, due diligence projects, and coordinating with foreign practitioners on international matters to protect brand assets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution.
• Experience managing international trademark matters and communicating with foreign practitioners.
• Portfolio management, reviewing trademark search reports, and drafting clearance opinions.
• Experience with trademark enforcement: cease-and-desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations before TTAB.
• Due diligence and licensing experience is desirable.

• Experience includes trademark portfolio management, reviewing trademark search reports, preparing written trademark clearance opinions, monitoring trademark watch notices, and preparing written recommendations.
• The role requires experience with trademark enforcement, including drafting cease-and-desist letters and handling oppositions and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
• Experience with trademark licensing and due diligence projects is also required.
