Job summary

Plona Partners is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal for a fully remote role supporting a premier AmLaw IP practice. The position involves handling U.S. and international trademark filings, docket management, and high-value portfolio support for global brands.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of trademark prosecution experience, strong client communication, and familiarity with NetDocuments and docketing systems. Salary is competitive with bonuses and overtime eligibility.

• Extensive USPTO and WIPO trademark filing experience.
• Strong understanding of global IP procedures and docketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark and copyright applications with the USPTO and WIPO.
• Manage Office Actions, Statements of Use, Affidavits, Renewals, Assignments, TTAB filings, oppositions and cancellations.
• Coordinate with foreign associates on worldwide trademark portfolios.

Remote Trademark Paralegal | Elite AmLaw Firm | West Coast Hours

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 + Overtime + Bonus

Some trademark opportunities are about maintaining a docket. This one is about becoming an integral part of one of the country's most sophisticated Intellectual Property practices. Plona Partners has been exclusively retained to identify an experienced Trademark Paralegal for a nationally recognized AmLaw law firm with a premier Intellectual Property practice. While we're keeping the firm's identity confidential during the early stages of the search, this is an opportunity to join a highly respected team supporting global brands across the full trademark lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark and copyright applications with the USPTO and WIPO
• Manage Office Actions, Statements of Use, Affidavits, Renewals, Assignments, TTAB filings, oppositions and cancellations
• Coordinate directly with foreign associates on worldwide trademark portfolios
• Maintain and manage complex IP dockets with exceptional accuracy
• Communicate directly with sophisticated clients regarding trademark prosecution matters
• Conduct U.S. and international clearance searches
• Prepare client status reports and docket reports
• Work alongside experienced IP attorneys on high-value domestic and international portfolios

We're Looking For

• Extensive experience with USPTO, WIPO and international trademark filings
• Strong understanding of global Intellectual Property procedures
• Experience managing sophisticated IP docketing systems
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems such as NetDocuments
