LHH is seeking an experienced IP Trademark Paralegal to support sophisticated trademark portfolios across the U.S. and globally in a fast-paced law firm environment.

You will manage domestic and international IP matters, docketing, filings, and client communications while collaborating with attorneys. Hybrid flexibility is offered and long-term career growth is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IP Paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys on domestic and international trademark matters.
• Experience with docketing, filings, and portfolio management of IP assets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark applications.
• Prepare and file copyright applications.
• Draft and file responses to Office Actions.
• Coordinate with foreign counsel for international matters.
• Manage attorney dockets for U.S. and international IP matters.
• Monitor deadlines for filings, renewals, and maintenance.
• Maintain portfolios of trademarks and copyrights.

What You'll Be Doing

Trademark & Copyright Prosecution

• Prepare and file U.S. and international trademark applications
• Prepare and file copyright applications
• Draft and file responses to Office Actions
• Prepare Amendments to Allege Use and Statements of Use
• Coordinate specimen collection and filing requirements
• Manage filings before the USPTO and state trademark offices
• Maintain and manage trademark and copyright portfolios
• Monitor critical filing, renewal, maintenance, and response deadlines
• Maintain attorney dockets for U.S. and international matters
• Conduct portfolio audits and compliance reviews
• Ensure accurate records and tracking of IP assets

International Trademark Support

• Coordinate with foreign counsel
• Manage international filing correspondence
• Track global trademark matters and deadlines
• Support multinational trademark prosecution efforts
• Conduct preliminary trademark screening searches
• Assist with trademark clearance reviews
• Conduct ownership, assignment, lien, security interest, and UCC-related searches
• Support transactional and portfolio review matters

Attorney & Client Support

• Draft client correspondence and reporting
• Prepare legal documents and filings
• Assist with IP-related agreements
• Support litigation and enforcement efforts as needed
• Work closely with multiple attorneys and client teams

What We're Looking For

Required

• Minimum 4+ years of IP Paralegal experience
• Prior law firm experience
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
