BGSF is seeking a contract Trademark Paralegal for our reputable legal client located in the DT area of Chicago!

1. 3+ month contract
2. $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr, DOE; to $70sK + annual bonus
3. Monday – Friday, 900am – 500pm
4. Hybrid – 2 days per week work from home AFTER training; Wednesdays required onsite
5. REQUIRES 3+ years IP experience with a focus on trademark filing and document preparation; USPTO, and researching competitive trademarks; docketing; MS Office/Excel, 4-year degree; Case Management, Anaqua, Relativity systems strongly preferred
6. Offers immediate, stable income with potential for hire at a reputable firm with great benefits

The primary responsibility of this role is to handle trademark and copyright documents from USPTO and foreign associates.

Highly Desired

1. 3+ years trademark paralegal experience, i.e., filing and preparing trademark paperwork, using the USPTO, and researching competitive trademarks
2. Knowledge of domestic and international USPTO trademark practice and procedures including Madrid Protocol and Community Trademark
