Job Title: Trademark Paralegal

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year

Overview:

A leading Law Firm in Chicago is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to support its intellectual property team. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days per week and offers a competitive salary and benefits. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in trademark law and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to legal support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios, including filings, renewals, and oppositions.
• Prepare and submit documents to the USPTO and other global IP offices.
• Conduct trademark searches and assist with clearance processes.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of trademark assets.
• Collaborate with attorneys and cross-functional teams to support brand protection strategies.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely responses to office actions and other legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in trademark law, with strong knowledge of USPTO and international IP procedures.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality legal support.
