Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Chicago to identify a Trademark Legal Coordinator to join its Intellectual Property team.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of trademark experience and will manage filings, docketing, and portfolio records while supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. You will coordinate domestic and international filings and maintain accurate IP databases to ensure timely matter closures. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Intellectual Property experience, with a strong focus on trademarks
• Experience handling trademark filings, docketing, and portfolio management
• Anaqua experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience as an IP Legal Coordinator, IP Specialist, Legal Assistant, or IP Paralegal
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

• Support trademark prosecution matters from filing through maintenance.
• Manage trademark docketing, deadlines, renewals, and portfolio records.
• Prepare and file trademark-related documents with the USPTO and other agencies.
• Coordinate domestic and international trademark filings.
• Maintain accurate IP databases and matter records.
• Prepare status reports, filing confirmations, and portfolio summaries.
• Partner with attorneys, clients, and vendors to ensure timely completion of trademark matters.
• Assist with administrative and organizational support for the Intellectual Property practice.
