Job summary

Bake’n Joy Foods, Inc is seeking a Trade Spend Analyst in North Andover, MA. The role oversees promotional spend from setup to reconciliation, working with Sales, AR, brokers, and customers to ensure accuracy and timely closure of deductions.

The position requires a financial background with experience in trade spend and strong Excel skills. This hands-on role emphasizes internal controls, process improvements, and collaboration across Finance and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Experience with trade spend, deductions, AR or related finance function preferred.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods/food manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate marketing and customer promotional programs in the system before setup.
• Input and maintain pricing, accrual specs, and trade program data in the ERP.
• Prepare payment requests for end-user and customer programs.
• Validate deductions against approved programs and docs.
• Own the deduction lifecycle from identification to final resolution.
• Maintain deduction aging and open-item reporting with ownership and next steps.
• Collaborate with Sales, AR, brokers and customers to resolve deductions.
• Access portals and resources to obtain docs and research deductions.
• Reconcile programs, accruals, deductions, payments and balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end close with accrual validation and reconciliations.
• Prepare recurring trade spend reports highlighting trends and risks.
• Identify process gaps and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Serve as backup for daily cash receipts and applications.
• Assist with annual audits and finance projects.
