Job summary

Innovative Environments, a Houston-based design-build company, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead our Trade Show division. You will drive the full project lifecycle from design reviews and estimating through installation, dismantle, invoicing, and post-show analysis, working closely with clients and vendors.

We require 3+ years in trade shows, CAD proficiency, budget and schedule oversight, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within the trade show, exhibit, events, or experiential industry.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and design plans.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review exhibit designs and determine construction approach (custom, modular, or standard structures).
• Coordinate revisions and prepare updated quotes as project scope evolves.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Graphics, Fabrication, Logistics, Installation & Dismantle, and outside vendors.
• Monitor project progress and address scheduling, budget, quality, and scope issues.
• Communicate status, changes, risks, and actions to teams and clients.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.
• Ensure accurate project documentation throughout the life of each project.
• Lead client meetings and presentations, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Oversee invoicing, financial management and profitability reporting.
