Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for North Carolina Trade and Industrial Education – Construction license.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with industry experience; or high school diploma with extensive industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach students fundamentals and advanced skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry or HVAC.
• Provide hands-on training and safety-focused instruction in shop settings.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with NC state curriculum and standards.
• Prepare students for industry certifications and job opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and workshop environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
