DV Trading is seeking a remote Trade Desk Support Engineer to join the IT department and provide L1–L3 support for service requests and incidents. This night-shift role runs from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM Central Time, delivering prompt, professional assistance to keep trading systems running smoothly.

You will monitor critical environments, proactively resolve production issues, and develop tools to improve efficiency, stability, and automation through scripting.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant IT/support experience
• Strong UNIX environment knowledge
• MySQL and InfluxDB database experience
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Able to work night shift CST

Overview:

We are hiring a remote Trade Desk Support Engineer (Night Shift) to join our IT department and provide L1 through L3 support for service requests and incidents. This role follows a night shift schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM Central Time (CT). Customer service and production support are the most important aspects of this role, ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues to maintain smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Night shift:12:00 AM to 8:30 AM CST
• Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
• Proactive identification and resolution of production issues
• Development of tools and driving efficiency, stability improvements, and automation through scripting
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues
• Production deployments of all infrastructure components
• Off-hours pager support on a rotating schedule

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands
• Database knowledge with sql - MySQL, InfluxDB
• Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash
• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
• Ability to switch and track various ongoing tasks and issues is required
• Attention to detail in problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic trading environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred:

• Experience using Jira as a ticket/work request system
• Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga
• Linux desktop support experience
• Experience with version control systems such as git/puppet
• Network troubleshooting and analysis experience
