Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst in Woodridge, IL to own TAA and COO for IT and datacenter power products, including UPS, distribution gear, and racks. The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) and collaborates with supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, and legal to ensure government and global trade compliance.

The ideal candidate will maintain documentation, ensure traceability, and serve as the SME for audits and regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in trade compliance, regulatory compliance, or related engineering/compliance roles.
• Strong ability to interpret and apply global trade requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own Trade Compliance for IT and data center power products, including UPS, power distribution, rack power, and related accessories.
• Lead TAA compliance activities, including eligibility assessments, compliance maintenance, and support for government and regulated customers.
• Determine and maintain COO compliance through substantial transformation analysis and site transfers.
• Develop, maintain, and defend trade compliance documentation, traceability records, and audit-ready substantiation.
• Serve as the trade compliance SME for audits, customer requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory inquiries.
