Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to support import compliance programs, classify products, determine country of origin, and oversee entry review and audit readiness. The candidate will work with Customs Brokers, internal partners, and Trade Compliance leadership to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in import trade compliance, strong knowledge of HTS/COO, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in import trade compliance, customs operations, or trade compliance analysis.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariffs, valuation, broker entry processes, and audits.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Responsibilities

Determine, maintain, and validate HTS classifications and Country of Origin for determinations.
Oversee tariffs and trade remedy programs and assess applicability of preferential trade programs.
Oversee Customs Broker entry activity, including entry validation and post-entry reviews.
Maintain import records and support audit readiness through documentation review and data validation.
Analyze ACE reports and other import compliance data to identify trends and improvements.
Serve as escalation point for complex compliance issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
