ASSA ABLOY Group seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage HTS classifications, COO determinations, and tariff programs. You will collaborate with Customs Brokers, internal teams, and leadership to ensure compliant import transactions and data integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in import trade compliance, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel proficiency; SAP/QAD experience is a plus. Hybrid work from Lake Forest, CA with some on‑site days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in import trade compliance, customs operations, or trade compliance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of HTS and COO determinations, trade remedy programs, and post‑entry activities.
• Solid understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, tariffs, broker entry processes, and audits.
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with QAD or SAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Determine and validate HTS classifications and COO using origin rules, BOMs, and supplier docs.
• Support tariff and trade remedy programs and assess applicability of preferential programs.
• Oversee broker entry activity, post‑entry reviews, PSC/PEA, and audit readiness.
• Maintain import records per regulatory requirements and support data integrity.
• Analyze ACE reports to spot trends and recommend process improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for high‑risk regulatory issues and coordinate cross‑functional needs.
