Job Description

The Trade Client Relations Director is responsible for the analysis, modeling, and delivery of innovative pharmacy and medical rebate strategies and cost-saving solutions to Prime's clients to ensure Prime provides the highest quality and lowest cost of care to its members. This position involves collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand, measure, and present financial opportunities to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers, negotiators, and clients to model and track rebate and cost-saving opportunities; support rebate-related product development and implementation.
  • Lead Prime's Medicare Center of Excellence work, ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met through close collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Understand rebate guarantees, pharmaceutical rebate agreements, drug trends, and requirements to optimize client savings; identify barriers and collaborate on solutions.
  • Perform analyses to support formulary and drug management strategies and contract recommendations.
  • Create client-specific models supporting formulary strategies, working with negotiation, clinical, and government partners.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support rebate savings, account reconciliation, and promote Best in Care strategies; consult on drug strategies to enhance rebate value.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Current pharmacist license in good standing in the state of employment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Trade/Rebates, PBM healthcare, or insurance.
  • Or a Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields with 8 years of relevant experience; HS diploma or GED required.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Access/Excel for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with drug spend and formulary strategies.
  • Understanding of PBM industry and operations.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • Ability to sit, handle, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Employees must adhere to security responsibilities and legal requirements. The salary range is $124,000 - $211,000 based on experience. Benefits details are available on our website.
