Job summary

SYSCO is seeking a Dock Helper to assist Transportation and Warehouse teams by preparing equipment for loading, unloading, and dispatching in accordance with company standards. The schedule varies with shifts including early mornings and evenings; starting pay is $25.63 per hour with incremental increases over 6 months and 1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers according to door assignments to complete loading.
• Ensure refrigeration unit is operating and loads are secured before moving.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in the building, warehouse, and yard.
• Inspect equipment daily and document inventory of carts, load bars, and other gear.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
