Job summary

The candidate will troubleshoot, follow fleet processes, and ensure compliance with J.B. Hunt specs across shifts including nights and weekends. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair or related training/military equivalent.
• A/C Certification is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT and FHWA inspections and in air brakes.
• Tools supplied by employee; or can be obtained via toolbox program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, replacement of parts, and complex repairs on tractors per specs (fuel system, engine, brakes, transmission).
• Troubleshoot tractor issues; work independently and follow shop safety procedures.
• Mentor and onboard Tractor Technician trainees as needed.
• Complete work orders and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
