Job summary

Dart Network in Eagan, MN is seeking a full-time heavy-duty truck mechanic with a Class A CDL to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet, focusing on electrical and braking systems. You will work day shift, ensure DOT compliance, and document each repair on the repair order.

Required: High school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of experience on heavy-duty trucks, valid driver's license, and ability to pass drug screen, physical, and background check.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Class A CDL
• Perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet including electrical and brakes
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing electrical and air systems on trailers; body and rail repairs.
• Write itemized story to summarize each repair performed.
• Follow all DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards.
• Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
• Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic needed
• Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and company
• Properly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.
