Job summary

Dart Network in Minnesota (Eagan area) seeks an experienced Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet, with emphasis on electrical and air systems. This on-site role requires a Class A CDL and a strong safety mindset.

You'll perform air brake work, document repairs, comply with DOT and company standards, and support shop goals while working with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucks.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain fleet including electrical and brakes.
• Perform air brakes diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose or replace electrical and air systems on trailers; body and rail repairs.
• Write itemized repair stories summarizing each repair performed.
• Follow DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards.
• Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic.
• Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and company.
• Properly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.
