Job summary

PAM Transport Inc. is seeking a motivated tractor/trailer mechanic to keep America’s freight moving. The successful candidate will perform repairs and PM maintenance on trucks and trailers, including welding aluminum and steel, with attention to safety and quality.

The role is full-time, in-person, with a Wednesday to Saturday schedule from 1:30pm to 12am. The company offers Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axels on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trucks and trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.

Pay and Schedule

• Wednesday to Saturday 1:30pm to 12am
• The pay range is $20 to 30/hour depending on experience.
