Job summary

PAM Transport Inc. in North Jackson, OH is seeking a Technician Trainee to join our maintenance team. You will help keep our trailers in peak condition, learning diesel mechanics, welding, and routine PM tasks while contributing to safe, reliable service.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 am–4:30 pm) with a pay range of $24–$28 per hour, based on experience. Applicants should have at least one year of trailer/mechanical experience and basic tools to get started.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axels on trailers.
• Own basic tools.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.
