Job summary

LS Tractor is seeking a Product Manager to lead the product lifecycle for LSTA tractors, develop training materials, sales talking points, and product specifications, and coordinate launches with dealer development and cross-functional teams.

You will perform market research, STP/SWOT analyses, pricing recommendations, and collaborate with marketing to create promotion plans. A Bachelor's in Engineering and five years in tractor product management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Five years product management or related experience, specific to tractors.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage large complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs market analysis for LSTA products. Performs STP analysis and SWOT analysis for each LS Tractor offering.
• Uses STP and SWOT analysis to develop new product launch plans.
• Develops launch plan milestones to measure plan progress.
• Communicates launch plan milestones to stakeholders with due dates.
• Monitors launch plan progress and recommends adjustments when necessary.
• Evaluates market and competitive pricing and makes pricing recommendations.
• Collaborates with marketing to develop product promotion plans, including farm and trade shows.
• Develops and executes product training for the internal organization and dealers.
• Acts as a point of contact for Regional Managers and Business Managers regarding launch strategy.
• Engages with sales and marketing teams, providing information on LSTA and competitors.
• Develops and manages the product testing center.
• Identifies competitive advantages and trains teams on talking points.
• Develops long-term strategy for the product lineup.
• Participates in product development activities to meet market needs.
• Prepares Market Requirement Documents and product use cases.
• Defines pricing strategies and product policies.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams.
• Monitors product inventory and coordinates with purchasing to ensure availability.
