This position is located at the Trident Lakes Golf Course Branch of Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. The purpose of this position is to lead and work alongside tractor operators/greenskeepers, and to train and evaluate them in the proper use and operation of hand and power tools, mowers, tractors, trucks, and other power equipment needed to maintain tees, greens, fairways, sand traps, roughs, trees, and shrubbery.

Experience must demonstrate the following: Must have a high degree of skill to maneuver driver operated machinery in small places, tight and confined spaces, in small turning radiuses, and on hills, and steep grades. Must have a high degree of manual skill and prior work experience to work safely with powered hand tools. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and accomplish work independently and with minimal supervision. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
