Job summary

S?cheron Hasler Group in Washington DC is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead North American traction power substation projects onsite. You will coordinate initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout, working with manufacturing partners in Europe to meet contract goals.

The role requires an electrical or mechanical engineering background, PMP or PM training is a plus, and 3+ years as PM/Engineer in electrical fields, or 5+ years as designer/coordinator in traction power.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; 10+ years in traction power may substitute.
• PMP certification or formal PM training is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years as Project Manager/Engineer in electrical field; or 5 years as Project Coordinator/Designer in traction power.
• Railway or traction power experience is a plus.
• USA citizenship and US passport required within 15 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead all North American traction power substation projects.
• Coordinate initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout with cross-functional teams in Europe.
• Ensure scope, cost, schedule, quality, and performance meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate design submittals, approvals, production, and logistics with suppliers.
• Maintain proactive client communication through all project phases.
• Foster teamwork and proactive problem solving.
