Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Terminal Radar (TRACON) ATC Instructor-II for the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. You will deliver high-quality training to a diverse group of developmental air traffic control students and lead hands-on instruction in TRACON operations.

Qualifications include US citizenship, FAA CPC, and 3+ years of civilian TRACON ATCS experience at or above Level-7. Strong teaching skills and simulator familiarity are essential. The role may be full-time, part-time, or casual.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust.
• 3+ years FAA CPC ATCS experience in TRACON or higher.
• FAA CPC certification required; Instructor-II Simulation Lab Certification desired.
• Experience with ATC simulators and scenario design.
• Strong teaching and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality ATC training to students.
• Operate and assess ATC simulators and lab environments.
• Design scenarios for simulation platforms.
• Collaborate with FAA personnel to meet training needs.
• Obtain and maintain TRACON simulation lab certification.
