Job summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. is seeking a motivated Track Support Engineer to optimize TRD race engines and provide data-driven support for NASCAR Cup teams.

The role requires a BS in engineering, hands-on EFI tuning and dyno experience, and extensive travel to events. You will develop bulletins, analyze engine data, and ensure reliability and performance under race conditions.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years race engine EFI tuning experience with data analysis.
• Minimum 2 years in a track support engineering role.
• Minimum 1 year engine systems development with reporting.
• Direct experience with EFI hardware and at least one EFI software.
• Experience with engine assembly and chassis dyno operation.
• Hands-on race shop experience related to engine installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, operate, and maintain TRD-supplied race engines.
• Develop and communicate TRD Technical Bulletins to Race Team personnel.
• Provide onsite race shop and dyno support; run test plans and report results.
• Review engine data during on-track sessions and advise on corrective actions.
• Distribute post-event reports with calibrations and data to teams.
