Director — Track, Infrastructure & Maintenance and is based in Brooklyn, NY. Salary steps range from $110,381 to $115,888 annually with opportunities for advancement and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience with a major railroad or transit authority installing, maintaining, and repairing track.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Current MTA employee must have at least one year in current role.

Responsibilities

• Instruct employees on track safety rules, GOs, and right of way protection.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback.
• Conduct refresher and corrective training as required.
• Supervise hourly, supervisory & management staff in classroom and field locations.
• Create and maintain training aids and mockups.
• Coordinate with departments to schedule training.
• Research industry best practices and integrate new delivery methods.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance.
• Perform administrative tasks as required to meet business needs.
