Job summary

Speedway Motorsports, LLC is seeking a Gift Store Clerk & Tour Guide Associate in Harrisburg, NC for a part-time role. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences in our retail store and lead engaging tours of the track, sharing history and traditions with fans.

A friendly demeanor and strong storytelling are essential as you work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include merchandise assistance, POS operation, and safe, enjoyable tours with training provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and eligible under MVR.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with storytelling.
Hospitality-focused and guest-service oriented.
Retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and major events.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide exceptional service.
Assist guests with merchandise selection and POS purchases.
Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
Build product knowledge and recommend merchandise.
Lead engaging track tours, sharing history and traditions.
Explain itineraries, answer questions, and adapt routes as needed.
Ensure safety, accessibility, and enjoyable tour experiences for all.
Maintain store presentation and support merchandising and inventory.
Meet attendance expectations and work a flexible schedule including events.
