Job summary

R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC seeks a Track Supervisor to lead track maintenance operations in Westlake, LA. The role involves coordinating repairs, inspections, and safety programs while guiding a team and coordinating with internal and external customers.

You will plan improvements, monitor work practices, and ensure compliance with Maintenance of Way standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of track maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have experience in Maintenance of Way standards.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Familiar with and able to apply safety and operating procedures.
• Independent starter and self-motivated with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and perform track maintenance work (install ties, change rail, etc.).
• Perform weekly track inspections to ensure safe train operations.
• Monitor work practices and safety-related issues to improve quality and performance.
• Work with customers, both internally and externally.
• Plan and provide future track improvements for the location.
• Manage employees, equipment, and materials.
