Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (DGNO) seeks a Track Laborer in Dallas, TX to maintain and repair railroad infrastructure. Work outdoors in all weather, using hand tools and heavy equipment; training provided and opportunities for growth in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to comply with safety regulations. Full-time schedule with varied hours including nights and weekends; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet employment requirements.
• 18+ years of age and willingness to comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair railroad track using hand tools and heavy equipment.
• Inspect and operate tools and equipment for safe condition prior to use.
• Remove and replace ties and rails; load and unload equipment and material.
• Follow safety rules and comply with federal, state, and railroad regulations.
