Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. seeks a Foreman to lead maintenance-of-way crews, ensuring safe, reliable track operations. You’ll plan, supervise, and execute maintenance projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a 24/7 environment and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet service targets. A valid license and willingness to relocate within 50 miles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience; outdoor work preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and regulations.
• Strong communication and written reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure efficient railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support track, signal, and capital-project service goals.
