Railserve in Kansas is seeking a Track Laborer to support track installation, maintenance, and inspection projects. This outdoor, hands-on role collaborates with a team to ensure safe, reliable rail operations and timely project completion.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift heavy materials, and strict adherence to safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor outdoors.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive spikes and assist with track installation and maintenance.
• Move and set cross ties and sections of rail.
• Shovel ballast and support track alignment.
• Adjust and lubricate switches; tighten track bolts.
• Check track gauge and cross level; carry track tools.
