Railserve is hiring Track Laborers in Indiana to support track construction, maintenance, and inspection projects. This hands-on outdoor role requires teamwork and adherence to safety procedures as part of a fast-paced field operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor outdoors.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive spikes and assist with track installation and maintenance.
• Move and set cross ties and sections of rail.
• Shovel ballast and support track alignment.
• Adjust and lubricate switches.
• Tighten track bolts and hardware.
• Check track gauge and cross level.
• Carry and use track tools and equipment (including track jack ~40 lbs).
