Job summary

Canadian Pacific Railway (CPKC) is seeking a Track Supervisor to join the Engineering team. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and integrity of track infrastructure, covering a wide territory and coordinating maintenance activities to keep trains moving efficiently.

Based in field operations, you will lead track crews, ensure compliance with standards, and participate in on-call and emergency response to support 24/7 rail operations. A strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years hands-on track maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year operating track machines.
• Ability to interpret track standards and circulars.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee scheduled track inspections at required intervals, identify hazards and address exceptions.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation to reduce safety risks and improve reliability.
• Direct maintenance activities in line with renewal plans for track components.
• Set daily work priorities and advise the Roadmaster.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response for 24/7 operations.
