Job summary

CPKC is seeking a Track Supervisor in Texas to help ensure the safety, reliability, and integrity of rail track infrastructure. You will lead track maintenance activities, oversee inspections, and maintain comprehensive records to support 24/7 operations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, machine operation, and a strong commitment to safety. You will coordinate with leadership to prioritize work and respond to emergencies as part of a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in track maintenance.
• 1+ year operating track machines.
• Ability to interpret track standards and practice circulars.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety practices and procedures.
• Oversee scheduled track inspections and address safety gaps.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation.
• Direct maintenance aligned with renewal plans for track components.
• Set daily work priorities and coordinate with Roadmaster.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response on rotation.
