Job summary

Canadian Pacific Railway is seeking a safety-focused track maintenance professional in the United States to oversee inspections and maintenance for main terminal areas. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience operating track machines, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will interpret track standards, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with the Roadmaster to ensure reliable rail infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in track maintenance, preferably in main terminal areas.
• Minimum 1 year operating various track machines with a proven safety record.
• Ability to interpret and apply track standards and circulars.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with track safety practices, policies and procedures.
• Oversee scheduled track inspections at required intervals.
• Maintain inspection records, reports and documentation to reduce safety risks.
• Direct maintenance activities following renewal plans for track components.
• Set daily priorities and offer guidance to the Roadmaster.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response for 24/7 operations.
