Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking a Track & Field Varsity Head Coach for a one-year ancillary position. The season runs Feb through June with practices 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, and meets on weekdays after school or evenings. Off-season work is flexible.

Stipend ranges from $7,265 to $9,444 per season, based on experience. Lead all practices, recruit students, and develop talent pipelines. The role requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least 3 years of coaching

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of successful coaching experience.
• Knowledge of track and field techniques, rules, and training theory.
• Ability to lead diverse youth and collaborate with schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all aspects of the program.
• Keep the program competitive and character-building.
• Recruit students and build talent pipelines with partner schools.
• Develop year-round strategies for skill development.
• Lead practices, games, and events.
• Hire and maintain coaching support staff.
