Jefferson Health is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in developing a competitive NCAA sport program and mentoring student-athletes in academics, athletics, and personal growth.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coordinating travel and schedules, ensuring compliance with NCAA rules, and promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and inclusion across the program.

Qualifications

• Experience in collegiate coaching or playing at the college level.
• Strong recruiting abilities and academic focus in student-athletes.
• Ability to manage travel, scheduling and equipment logistics for a program.
• Commitment to inclusion, integrity, and the university’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in developing, implementing, and executing all aspects of the sport program, including training plans and student-athlete development.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to recruit and retain qualified student-athletes with strong academics and character.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and mentor student-athletes in leadership and well-being.
• Support day-to-day program operations, travel coordination, equipment management, and practice/competition scheduling.
