Job summary

Google Inc. Mountain View, CA seeks a senior leader to own outcomes in silicon validation for Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) within mobile SoCs. You will drive test plans, verification frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust hardware performance and integration.

The role requires extensive experience in SoC validation, people management, and ML accelerator architectures, with a focus on delivering high-quality silicon solutions for Google's consumer hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in SoC validation.
• 5 years of experience in people management, developing employees.
• Experience with ML accelerator and Mobile SoC architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team responsible for the silicon validation of Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), Google's custom machine learning accelerator, in mobile SoC products.
• Drive the development of test plans and advanced verification frameworks for pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon validation.
• Oversee power and performance measurement, ensuring correlation with pre-silicon to meet product goals.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Software, and DV teams to resolve technical issues and support silicon debug through the product life-cycle.
• Ensure the team meets project schedules and provides excellent support for internal customers and field failure analysis.
