Job summary

Google Inc. in Mountain View, CA seeks a seasoned hardware validation engineer to drive pre- and post-silicon validation for TPU-related mobile SoC architectures. You will lead test planning, power and performance measurements, and coordinate with SW, Arch, DV teams.

The role demands 8 years in SoC validation, a BS in EE/CE/CS, and hands-on experience with ML accelerators, ARM-based mobile SoCs, and C/C++ test frameworks. Mastery in emulation and board-level debugging is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in SoC validation.
• Experience with ML accelerator architecture.
• Experience with Mobile SoC architecture including ARM processor, coherent fabric, and SMMU.
• Experience with test and verification framework development in C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team responsible for Silicon validation of TPU design in mobile SoC.
• Develop test plan, perform pre-silicon validation (Emulation) and post-silicon validation.
• Conduct power, performance measurement and correlation with pre-silicon goal.
• Collaborate with Software, Architecture, Design, and DV teams at different stage of the product development.
