The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus invites applications for temporary, part-time Chemistry faculty to teach 1000-2000 level courses. This recruitment is a continuous process for the Spring 2027 semester and will remain open, with selections made per semester as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Chemistry (or related field with 18 graduate credits in Chemistry) and at least one year of post-secondary teaching experience; online teaching experience is preferred.

The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary,part-time faculty to teach 1000-2000 Level ChemistryCourses.This will bea continuous recruitment starting inthe spring 2027 semester. The postingwill remain open, and applicants will be selected as needed per semester.

Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural ValenciaCounty, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branchcampus of The University of New Mexico which functions as a community collegein the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With anemphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transferprograms, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to highschools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve astudent body of over 2,000 students per semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD, ABD, or EdD in Chemistry orrelated field.
  • Experience and/or certificationto teach online.
