Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate in Operational Risk Management for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). This role drives governance, policy, and risk oversight across the enterprise, acting as a core SME and coordinating with cross-functional partners to navigate regulatory challenges and ensure rigorous risk practices.

You will lead internal governance programs, manage remediation efforts, and maintain taxonomies and diagnostics to support audits and examinations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit within a financial institution or regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience in process management governance.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Framework and Policy Governance across the full lifecycle.
• Lead the annual TPRM Risk Oversight Program Self-Assessment and Process Criticality Assessments.
• Serve as the primary SME on TPRM requirement applicability and guidance to the business.
• Own end-to-end remediation of TPRM-related risk issues.
