Our client, a leader in the automotive and autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a TPM - Vehicle System Integration to join their team. As a TPM - Vehicle System Integration, you will be part of the Systems Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. What's the Job?
- Manage the release train, maturity lifecycle, and governance for all System Technical Specifications (STS) across all program gates from PI to OKTB.
- Act as the operational owner of the System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (SFMEA) lifecycle, facilitating workshops and tracking action items to ensure safety mitigations are integrated into hardware/software schedules.
- Build and maintain the master dependency matrix linking various engineering teams and proactively resolve timeline disconnects to keep engineering progress on track.
- Lead the program management of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), ensuring all stakeholders evaluate impacts on timelines and resources.
- Define and track health metrics of the Systems Engineering team’s deliverables, providing high-density status updates to executive leadership.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Systems Engineer in aerospace, autonomous vehicles, or advanced automotive settings.
- Deep familiarity with the systems engineering "V-model" lifecycle, fail-operational architectures, and requirements management frameworks.
- Proven experience managing safety workflows such as SFMEAs, DFMEAs, FTAs, and ensuring ISO 26262 / MIL-STD-882 compliance.
- Strong background in vehicle E/E system design, electrical integration, or managing complex hardware/software interfaces.
- Experience using project, change, and configuration management tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Jama, Polarion, or DOORS.
