Google LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead security and firmware programs for Platforms and Devices. You will define roadmaps, coordinate boot/update stack work with silicon vendors, and drive security reviews across releases.

The role requires 5+ years in program management and deep OS/firmware experience. You will partner with Android, Legal, and silicon teams to deliver secure, on-time platform capabilities while mentoring teams and aligning with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in security engineering standards and practices, or managing security or privacy programs.
• Experience working with operating systems, firmware, or embedded software development teams.

Responsabilités

• Define the multi-quarter roadmap for platform security, privacy, and firmware.
• Manage programs for boot and update stacks with external silicon vendors.
• Coordinate security launch processes across platform releases and new hardware.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response initiatives at OS and firmware levels.
• Build partnerships to deliver platform capabilities and scalable tooling.
